gmc sierra mud boggin?

are gmc sierras from about 1995 to 1999 good for mud boggin/climbin, or what kind of truck should i get that is in the year range?
I don't want anythin that's older than like a 95, i don't want a ford, and i have the money to lift it, what do ya think?? and i am just a high school student, so it's not like hard core boggin.

They aren't the greatest due to the low framerails. Get a 1996 or later, the Vortec (LT1-based) engines are much better than the old wheezy TBI engines.
