2004 Mud bogging in my new Unimog
Out for a little mud bogging not long after I got my Unimog. First big rain in Las Vegas in a long time and one of the puddles was full so we decided to test out the snorkel. Very fun but it took forever to clean

Truck Mud Bog Racing at “Challenge in the Hills” 2009 Video 1
“Challenge in the Hills” is still so much fun, but just in a different way. The festivities have been cut way down the past couple of years, which lead to a large family attendance this year. Seeing the kids camping, fishing, and loving the racing in such a beautiful WV mountain location is really cool. The mud pit was as exciting as ever with some great mud throwing passes.

what do I need to turn my truck into a mudding truck?
I own a 2002 Chevy Silverado 1500. I love going mudding, but every time I go mudding I always seem to damage my truck. First, I needed to get a new oxygen sensor and the second time I broke a shock in the back. I know that mudding is not good for a truck, but I need to know what to get for my truck so that I can go mudding without severe damage to the truck.
Also, what can I do after mudding to reduce problems from occurring later on?
purdy much you need 4×4. if you have independent front suspension you are limited to what you can do. doesn’t matter how much of a lift you do. you will still have a large dam area pushing mud.
however,
all the vents for the gear cases need tubes fitted so the vents can be raised to a remote place on the truck. keeps the gear cases from getting moisture in em. then you need the appropriate tires with tread to handle the mud. that’s for starters.

arguably the best place to go and learn. they have done it all. just stay in the noob section till they know yea. you’ll get heavily flamed if you don’t.

best truck for off roading and mudding that can be used as a work truck?
i am looking for a truck that i can have fun with and still do work with as well i love fords but their not all i will drive but i wont touch a Doge truck
my dad uses a toyota tacoma (2009). and he’s got the offroad package. its all around a very sturdy yet comfortable truck. He uses it to plow the driveway (which is pushing a 30 degree incline). Also there are some wide trails that we occasionally offroad on, it handles it very well. We baught it in 08 and so far we have had no problems. Research it and see if its a candidate.
