I’ve got some type of mud on my truck that will not come off…?
I recently got some mud on both sides of my truck that will not come off. I’ve tried using a brush, I’ve scrubbed, I’ve held the pressure washer right on it, I’ve even sprayed WD40 on the mud with no luck. I can scratch it off, but it would be way too troublesome. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
thats some kind of mud it must have some thing mixed in with it

What would be a good first truck?Keep in mind its gonna see alot of mud.?
Also how much of a lift would be good. Im thinking any truck between 1900-2003 would be good. Also keep in mind its gonna be sitten on some 40’s.
When i was a bit younger my buddy bought a 1995 regular cab Ranger 2.3L 5speed 4×4. That truck went through stuff that larger trucks were getting stuck in. I believe this was mostly due to the fact that the truck was much lighter than a full size truck. It met its demise when he put it in a pond that he thought was much shalower. A bit of advice if you intend to cross a pond check the depth of it first. Trucks do not run well submersed under water. We learned that one the hard way! Hope this helps!

How to go from stock to mud truck?
have a completely stock 1988 ford f150. Its a really good truck 4×4, 351 windsor, only 75k miles on it. Ima turn it into a mud bogger. I think I'm going to take the bed off and weld roll bars and tube it out. Put a 6" suspension lift on it probably. Maybe a little 2 or 3 inch body lift. What all else do I need to do mechanically? Not gonna be on rocks that much, pretty much just woods/mud truck. Also, about how much will it cost to tube it out?
By "tubing it" I mean put a roll cage on it.
Don't know how much it will cost to put the on cage on is different for every truck. However, You should prob put a new air filter or scuba air filter on so you don't get water mud in your engine. That witt the other things you mentioned are more then we have done to our mud trucks in the past … So let the mud fly son!!!

what is a good truck for playing in the mud?
i want to get a older truck to go mud riding but i cant decide what to look for
old chevy 80-88. the suspension and drivetrain is tough and easy to keep aligned. massive aftermarket parts and plenty of used trucks out there for cheap.
any ford of the same era will have the weak TTB front end.
dodges don't have near the aftermarket.
if you go mid or small-size, then you'll be breaking parts all the time due to the big tires.
