Best truck for mudding? FX4, Z71?
What is a better truck for mudding or off-roading in your personal opinion? a ford fx4 or a chevy z71?
Why is it better than the other? Thanks.
New Chevys are every bit as durable as the fords, the older models (pre 07) can have some weak links when using larger than stock tires.(diff, steering) I don't think either have any good options for front end lockers. If going much larger than 35 inch tires it will be beneficial to swap in a couple of larger solid axles. Mudders usually use really large tires, and heavy axles to keep from breaking them. Hope i helped a bit. As far as motors go, you will be much happier with the Chevy. Better power, better mileage, and easier repairs.

What to use to remove yellow paint from truck that got kicked up after they pained the lines in the road?
I have tried bug and tar remover, kerosene, WD-40, I have heard to use Vaseline and have also heard to use an ammonia and water mix……help?
Keep in mind I have a lifted truck with mud tires on it so it's thrown all down the side….It makes me sick to look at it!

what all do i need to do to make my 99 chevy suburban a mud truck?
i have a 1999 chevy suburban and im looking to make it a mud truck so can you plz tell mm what all i need to do andhow much each thing will cost
A good set of mud tires. There are lots to pick from your only limit is your budget.
I would not suggest any bigger than will fit on the truck stock. either 31's or maybe 33's. It will depend on how much off-roading the truck will do on what kind of tires to get. If it is mostly just a mud truck then get some bias ply tires if it will still be doing a lot of on road driving then go with a set of radials
You could go out and spend a few thousand on lift kit and another thousand on some giant 38 inch Swampers. but after you just spent 3 grand or better all you really got was 2 1/2 inches of ground clearance (not that big of deal huh) and then you will have to deal with weather or not the engine will be able to turn the giant tires fast enough to keep them clean. not to mention that you just made the truck much more top heavy.
As far the width goes the wide tires look better but the skinny tires work better.

My truck has 235 75 15 tires, I want to put some BIG mudding tires on it. What other size tires will work?

I have the same truck. The biggest tire you can put on without rubbing is 30×9.5R15. You can put a body lift and fit 31-33

I am here in MO and I love it!! No more loud exhaust and trucks that are hard to see around…..whats it like in your area??

the vile air-polluting big rigs have atleasted decreased bu half!
i am very glad for the decrease, now when i walk to school i havent worry about that smoke getting into my lungs
