All of the answers so far are pretty good, but you haven't really been muddin untill you've buried your truck and have to walk about 3 miles to go get a tractor to pull you out.

apparently it's a redneck sport and right of passage for young hillbillies in which they take their pickup truck into a muddy offroad spot and proceed to get the thing as dirty and as out of line as possible, while screaming "whoa doggie" and drinking bud light. hahaha.

We go on backroads, paths, through the woods, etc. I've never seen why so many people think it's the best thing ever, i personally get a headache from it.

Find a big mud hole, and drive truck thu it!
Spinning the tires throws the mud everywhere, and your truck slip and slides…fun!!

muddin is goin out in the woods or a terrain park and find a mud hole wich is basicly deep water with deep mud on the bottom (dont drive into any lakes) lol and you dont need a big truck little awd suburus and jeeps will do the trick

It's when you you take your truck out and get all "squirrly" and sideways in dirt or mud. If you have a 4x4, you two wheel in and 4 wheel out.

It's a redneck tradition of taking your truck out into a muddy field, then tromping on the gas and doing donuts, sliding around, etc.It's FUN!

It's back woods offroading. Usually going through the mud. It's offroading when mountains and rocks and trails and what not aren't available. Jolly Good Fun.
