		<description>You might want to check out the Crane PowerMax cam. This is the cam Crane suggested for my overhaul a few back w/ the Performer hi-rise intake. That I work on for my 91 Silverado Z71 w/ the ECM corrected. If, you can dealin w/ a couputer on the vehicle then the door opens bigger for you suggestion of cam up-grades.

I&#039;d suggest callin one of the cam manufacture and decussing you needs and intentions over w/ them and let they help you deside on the right cam for you application.

		<description>3/4 cam?  I don&#039;t think a chevy cam with 4 lobes cut off of it will work too good.. Which end you gonna cut off the rear that has the gear or the front where timing chain goes? 

Sorry to rag on you man, but this aint the 50&#039;s anymore..  There&#039;s over 2,000 diff cam profiles for the chevy small block...  What&#039;s a full race cam and whats a 3/4? 

64cc heads will bump up the compression on engine if it has 70, 72, 74, 76 cc heads.. You&#039;ll gain power from the compression. 

The cam and compression ratio needs to match each other close or you&#039;ll have an engine that&#039;s lazy on the low rpm side, or an engine that pings it&#039;s self to death. 

With stock type heads, you will make more power by using a dual pattern cam (one with more exhaust duration and lift than intake)  In most cases 8-12 degrees more duration on exhaust side works best. 

With out know more specs, I can&#039;t/won&#039;t recommend a cam size though..  I need to know compression ratio.. If you don&#039;t know it and engine is stock you can give me the casting # and sufix code and I can look it up, them figure out compression with 64cc heads and recommernd a cam&lt;br&gt;&lt;b&gt;References : &lt;/b&gt;&lt;br&gt;Performance/Race engine builder, 12+ years</description>

		<description>the cam and other devices are intended to increase volumetric effeciencey.. you can never get a cylinder to fill one hundreds percent.. but the more radical the cam the worst the enging performs when ideling or trying to go slow.. i would recommen a two speed rear that you can shift with the transmission.. with a full race cam you cant drive on the streeet.. so i recommen a modified three quarter cam.. and agin if you get this you have to have it case hardened.. with high rpm it will wipe out the lobes. quickly ok gilermo.&lt;br&gt;&lt;b&gt;References : &lt;/b&gt;&lt;br&gt;</description>
