Also run a heavyer secondary spring, but watch the outer face on the primary clutch, if you notice the splines starting to hawg out, go to the 1.5mm

I did this same mod, it will gear you down about 5%( more lower end), but it will take it off your’e top end. I used secondary clutch shims to a 1999 yamaha mountain max 700 snowmobile, anything with a 1.5 to 2.0 mm thickness and a 52mm diameter
